Project Description

ArtEsteem: Self as a Super Hero

ArtEsteem’s Self as a Super Hero taught children self-reflection, discovery and imagination.  Through art, students learned how to explore the self and create imaginary and real replicas of themselves and their surrounding community.  With the focus on self as a super hero, students recreated themselves as super heroes through a variety of media which draws ideas from real and imaginary heroes.
