Storybridge: Listening & Speaking
Storybridge storytelling residencies are designed to develop the artistic, creative, collaborative, communication and critical thinking skills of students and promote intergenerational and intercultural understanding. Specifically, students improve their reading, listening, and speaking skills, teachers incorporate storytelling methods in their classroom, and students develop positive relationships with older storytellers.
This program has been funded multiple times in different schools. In 2019, AOK is funding the program for the first time at Burckhalter Elementary School.
