Destiny Arts Center is providing Bilingual Capoeira and African Dance to Lockwood STEAM’s 13 classrooms of TK-2 students throughout the spring. Every student at Lockwood STEAM now has the advantage of in-school arts education every week!

Destiny Arts Center’s Diasporic Movement Arts program inspires and ignites social change through the arts, connecting Oakland and East Bay youth with hip hop dance, traditional African dance, theatre, capoeira, and martial arts classes taught by professional artists who are primarily people of color.
