Ukulele with Ms. Gabby is a special opportunity for students to learn both practical musicianship skills on the ukulele as well as how to play popular and seasonal music — and even how to write an original song! Students will learn directly from Ms. Gabby, aka Gabby La La, a professional musician based in Oakland.  Students will walk away from this class with an understanding of how to: read basic ukulele charts, notate a chord themselves; play and read simple rhythms; and how to play any song given the chord charts or the chord names.
